Hi again, Yes it’s me Seymour. I just thought that I would tell you a little about myself. As you can see I’m a cat. One important thing to remember though is a cat is not a dog. So I am a CAT.
I work with my family at ADKArtsBoutique on Etsy. I spend most of my time on the face book page. I have various jobs to do as you will see in the coming days.
First about my family. Patti (she owns the shop) and from now on I’ll call her mom. That is what she is to me. She does all the curating and crafting. She even does some artwork. She keeps us all in line. Joe he is our head of shipping. ( At least he thinks so. Nothing leaves our shop without my approval) I will from now on call him Dad. He is our Adirondack Photographer. He studied Photography at RIT in Rochester NY. Next is Benjamin. He is my big brother. He does watercolors and photography for the shop. He is our idea man. Next is Katilee. She is our artist. She paints watercolors, does digital art, and draws. So that is my family.
Now for me. I am a big cat. I weigh 20 pounds and I am not fat. From my nose to my back feet I am 24 inches long (not including tail) I stand about 14 inches from floor to top of my back. Of course I hold my head up higher. I am 9 years old and part Russian Blue.
My family got me from the local animal shelter. They came looking for a kitten. They looked at me and my cell mate. Then moved on. I thought I like them especially the lady. She love and knows cats. She is a cat whisperer. What to do??? She walked by again and I reached through the bars and grabbed the leg of her jeans. I wouldn’t let go. Next thing I knew she took me out of my cell and I was carried out of the cell block. I got put in a box and when I came out there I was in a real house. A young girl named Katilee picked me up and hugged me. I looked around and knew that these people love cats and I was home. More important they loved ME.
So here I am helping them in The Boutique selling their wonderful art on Etsy. Please stop by and check us out if you get a chance. Who knows you just may find that perfect gift for someone special or for yourself. Also if your ever in the mood to adopt a pet please consider your local animal shelter. These kittens, cats, puppies, and dogs have no future there. Also please do not give pets for Christmas it usually doesn’t turn out well.
